TEACHERS’ GROWTH PROGRAM

Executive Summary

The Teachers’ Growth Program was a 45-day transformative initiative designed to enhance professional skills among educators. Funded by the Ekta Foundation, London, and organized by Help Hyderabad in collaboration with Edutop, India, this program aimed to uplift teaching practices through expert-led training sessions. With a combination of online and physical sessions, the program effectively bridged knowledge gaps, enabling teachers to implement modern pedagogical approaches in their classrooms.

Objectives

  • Enhance Pedagogical Practices: Equip teachers with modern teaching methodologies.

  • Foster Continuous Learning: Promote lifelong professional growth and adaptability.

  • Build a Collaborative Community: Connect educators to share best practices.

  • Student-Centric Approaches: Encourage teachers to cater to diverse learning needs.


Registrations & Selection Process

  • 148 teachers registered for the program.

  • A screening test was conducted to assess language proficiency and subject knowledge.

  • 53 teachers were shortlisted based on their performance.

  • After evaluating participation, attendance, and assessments, 35 teachers were awarded certificates of completion.


Trainer Selection & Recognition

The trainers were carefully chosen from principals, heads of schools, and field experts, ensuring the highest quality of instruction. The entire training team comprised 100% women, highlighting the leadership and expertise of women in education.

Each trainer was awarded a certificate and a gift in appreciation of their contributions.


Training Methodology

The program ensured maximum engagement and practical implementation through:

Five online sessions per week (after school hours)
One physical session every Sunday for face-to-face training
Interactive workshops & case studies
Assignments, assessments & feedback sessions
